EigenLayer reported that an investor's email used for token transfers was hacked today, leading to the theft and sale of 1.67M EIGEN tokens. The attacker sold the tokens and moved the proceeds to a centralized exchange (CEX). Some of the funds have since been frozen, and the protocol and token contracts remain secure with no vulnerabilities.

Wallet 0xa7a just dumped all 1.674M EIGEN ($5.55M) for 4.553M USDC and 418.774 ETH at $3.315 on average in the past 37 minutes, causing the price to drop 3.38%:

• address 2: 0x5905b112393471f7cf3a955dc15a602ec4fc1dc7

Notably, the wallet received those EIGEN tokens from the multi-signature wallet 0x87787389bb2eb2ec8fe4aa6a2e33d671d925a60f of Eigenlayer only 3 hours ago.
