US Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Net Inflows Update on October 1, 2024

The US Spot ETF Net Inflows on October 1, 2024, are recorded at -$242.6M for BTC and -$48.6M for ETH.

1. Key statistics for 11 Bitcoin Spot ETFs: -$242.6M
- The net flow turned strongly negative after 8 days with significant inflows due to political tension between Iran and Israel. This is the BTC ETF's biggest outflow since September 3.
- Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led the outflows with a $144.7M outflow.
- BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), nonetheless, continued its 7-day inflow streak, adding a total of 9,537 BTC ($611M) over the past 7 days.
- The cumulative total net inflow after 182 trading days now stands at $18.62B.

2. Key statistics for 9 Ethereum Spot ETFs: -$48.6M
- The net flow also turned strongly negative, becoming the biggest outflow since September 3.
- The cumulative total net inflow after 50 trading days now stands at -$572M.
