The US Spot ETF Net Inflows on September 16, 2024, are recorded at +$12.8M for BTC and -$9.4M for ETH.

1. Key statistics for 11 Bitcoin Spot ETFs: +$12.8M

  • The net flow of US BTC ETFs dropped sharply from $263M last week to $12.8M yesterday as the Bitcoin price declined over the weekend.
  • Nonetheless, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) finally saw an inflow again after 13 days of non-positive net flows.
  • The cumulative total net inflow after 171 trading days now stands at $17.31B.

2. Key statistics for 9 Ethereum Spot ETFs: -$9.4M

  • The net flow turned negative again.
  • The cumulative total net inflow after 39 trading days now stands at -$591M.

WazirX attacker keeps transferring ETH to Tornado Cash

The WazirX attacker further transferred 6,200 ETH ($14.6M) to Tornado Cash in the past 24 hours. Since September 3, the attacker has laundered 39,300 ETH ($92.72M), which accounts for 63.6% of the stolen amount, and still has 22,453 ETH ($54.46M) remaining.

Whale withdrew 120 BTC ($7.45M) from Binance

Whale 1C3J1 just withdrew 120 BTC ($7.45M) from Binance at $62,045. Notably, this is the whale's first significant withdrawal of BTC despite having been around since August 6, 2024. The BTC price rebounded by over 3% (24H), as the FED cut interest rates by 0.5% after 4 years.
